Summer Co Rural Pty Ltd T/A Australian Property & Livestock SummerCo (APL SummerCo) is a family owned and operated small business and a founding member of the larger APL network. Andrew Summerville, a director of the Company and the Licensee in Charge, together with his wife Georgie established the business in 2016 from very humble beginnings under the Ray White banner (which had no presence in the area). With their passion for the real estate and livestock industry their aim was to deliver a professional and ethical service to the Northern Rivers Region and that they did.
At the young age of 25 & 21 respectively, they commenced with a small office in Casino, two staff, plenty of enthusiasm and a big goal. The business enjoyed rapid growth and now operates with offices in Casino and Kyogle and services all surrounding areas, and employs 12 staff.
Our little dream is now a shared dream with our business partner Nick Fuller, who shares the same goals and morals. Together our endeavours are to service our area with the highest level of professionalism and achieve optimal results.
We started under the Ray White brand with, and continue to have, valuable support and advice from Bruce & Prue Birch (now x Ray White), and used their guidance and experience to really amplify the success of our clients, staff and business. Offering good honest advice and adapting the approach of telling clients the truth, rather than what they want to hear. This method has proved very successful, and our business has grown significantly over the last 8 years.
After 8 years promoting the Ray White brand, it became very apparent that their business model no longer aligned with that of ours and in May 2024 we made the decision to band with fellow agents whom carry the same principals and dedication to their clients as us and form our very own network of professional agents. With this in mind, we created the Australian Property & Livestock Group (APL Group). This is a very exciting new chapter and we can’t wait to build this story.

APL SummerCo’s staff are young professionals in their fields of expertise. They attend regular training and industry seminars to gain new skills to improve their knowledge of the job and the industry in which they work.

Our business is built on customer service, communication and ensuring our interactions with our customers, whether we are selling their livestock, their home or property or managing their investment property, are handled professionally from the beginning to the end. We use a refined set of processes that have been specifically designed to get the best possible results for our customers and aim for all our interactions with our customers to be an enjoyable experience.
We recognise that without our customer’s support and loyalty, we wouldn’t be as successful as we are today. Acting with integrity and providing positive customer experiences is critically important to our continued success as APL SummerCo. Our dynamic and energetic team all share a love for the local community. We will continue to be an integral part of the local landscape. We will continue to be its biggest advocates and we will continue to be actively involved in supporting community endeavours and protecting the unique appeal of our area.
Our agents are actively networking and we will continue to be regularly involved in local events such as Primex, Casino Beef Week, charity auctions and Field Days. APL SummerCo will continue to support local events, shows and campdrafts with sponsorship, donations and staff assistance. Furthermore we will continue to regularly make significant donations to the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service.
Additionally, APL SummerCo remains committed to supporting young candidates interested in the Stock and Station profession by offering work-experience to keen high-school agriculture students and regular traineeships. Currently our business has two trainees who are developing into eager agents and looking to attract new clients and business.
